I remember watching a live a few days ago & the streamer in question was thinking about going to different platforms to share his art, i recommended NG but he said his art will get stolen here, which is bullshit because ive never heard or experience anything like that, also he said this on tiktok, a app notorious for recycling the same garbage & stealing others videos or just clips.

If you search in undiscovered music there is quite a long of stolen songs, but other than that there's basically no stealing so I have no clue what they were talking about lol
Ok, that's bad but it sounds like the rare expectation, i feel people who looks down on NG are probably twitheads
While breaches of copyright seem to happen somewhat frequently on the audio portal, they are also found out quite quickly it seems. From the... "complaints"* I read every now and again, I'd say that the audio portal moderators have a particularly firm handle on things like breach of copyright, use of licensed music, users just clicking together a song from samples, etc...
When it comes to art, I can only remember 'one' case in the past year where one user stole from an artist. And once they where on the moderation team's radar, they got the hammer within an hour, every time they popped up.
The only way that streamer could have had their stuff stolen 'on NG' would be if they 'and their followers' never flagged any of the stolen work. Maybe they were just regurgitating something they were told by somebody who got banned an was bitter about it - which is _definitely_ something I see quite often.
