Questions for others

Posted by Cosmiccookie2000 - December 8th, 2023

Is it better to not talk about how i feel? Im feeling its becoming fruitless & others aren't caring about them, plus everytime i vent or reach out to others i just push people away, it might be a sign of me not being a good person & not being liked by anyone.

Depends on the feeling, context, and audience.
For example: Newgrounds is a website that draws more of an art- & gaming-community. Naturally, the users here are bound to care more about art and gaming - rather than to provide emotional support.
Also: 'Being a good person' and 'being liked by others' are two very different things.

... I don't know how old you are so I'm going to pick an example that might seem a little childish to you: Vegetables are good for your body. But not everybody likes them. With some skills in the kitchen and the right recipes you can make people accept vegetables that they don't like and would reject otherwise. Bu if you serve somebody a raw cabbage head they are either bound to complain 'or' (rarely) really into raw cabbage.
'So': If you are looking for people who 'want' to hear about your feelings you either have to apply some skills, so they 'get interested' 'or' you find that audience that's really into "raw cabbage".

Was that understandable? I feel that was very understandable. I'm going to frame this later. ;)
