Im still taking a hiatus, but i have been having trouble moving forward at the moment, so I ask an important question, how does someone take care if they're mental health.

Exercise, balance your time between the digital world and the real world, get plenty of sleep and eat right, belong to a community that aligns with your ideas and hobbies, and exercise some more.

People don't want to put the work in, then wonder why they still feel the way they do. Also, approach uncomfortable truths or personal issues you have and work on them individually day-by-day.

Exercise really helps a lot. I think it's the most efficient method. Also just doing household chores is helpful. Maintaining a good sleep schedule is very helpful. Exposing yourself to nature is good. Meditation can be helpful. Being there for others. Distance yourself from digital devices. Express your emotions through (any kind of) art.
Negative thoughts can actually cause an instant chemical reaction in the body.

A depression makes everything that may combat a depression harder to do as the serotonin from the brain gets throttled and you also feel more tired, exhausted, down. It's really not an easy situation to deal with.
